Morrissey – Saturday 20 August – Manchester Arena

Morrissey is set to play a run of international shows this August, with his only UK date being
Saturday 20 August at Manchester Arena.

Morrissey is a cross-generational musical legend and the most distinguished pop lyricist of his era. His latest album is World Peace Is None of Your Business – his first solo release since 2009’s Years of Refusal. World Peace Is None of Your Business peaked at number two in UK charts and marks Morrissey’s 12th Top Ten UK album.

In 2013 he released his autobiography to widespread acclaim. This continues to be a big seller across the UK.

Saturday 20 August marks Morrissey’s first headline show in Manchester since 2012 and will be supported by special guest Damien Dempsey.

World Championship Boxing: Crolla vs Linares – Saturday 24 September – Manchester Arena

Manchester’s Anthony Crolla goes head to head with Venezuela’s Jorge Linares in a monstrous fusion blockbuster for the WBA and WBC Diamond World and Ring Magazine Lightweight Championships at Manchester Arena – the undisputed and undefeated home of UK boxing.

This will be Crolla’s second defence of his WBA crown in his hometown fortress after his stupendous knockout victory over Venezuelan danger man Ismael Barroso this May.

Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan – Saturday 13 August – Manchester Arena

International superstar and Bollywood icon Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan returns to Manchester to perform at the arena as part of his Greatest Hits live tour.

Khan’s Greatest Hits tour will be one of his most thrilling to date – dazzling fans with a fantastic display of Qawwali and Bollywood hits.

Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is the nephew of the late legendary Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, who also mentored Khan from the age of three. Khan has since become the King of Qawwali and Sufi music and the incredible voice behind hits such as Tere Mast Mast Do Nain, Sajda, Dil To Baccha Hai and Teri Ore.

Fifth Harmony – Friday 7 October – Manchester Arena

Fifth Harmony's latest single, Work from Home ft. Ty Dolla $ign, has been smashing records following the release of their 7/27 album in May. The chart topping sensations will be delighting fans in Europe once again this year with the UK leg of their 7/27 tour.

Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello and Dinah Jane will bring their powerhouse vocal performance to Manchester in their only confirmed show in the north this year.

Work from Home ft. Ty Dolla $ign has earned Fifth Harmony their first top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, and is the first song to reach the top 10 from a girl group since 2008. The song also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Rhythmic Songs chart, marking the first girl group to top the chart in 15 years. Fifth Harmony’s record-breaking success on the charts adds to an already award-winning 2016, with the group’s first-time wins at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and People’s Choice Awards, their second win at this year’s Kids Choice Awards, and two wins at the Radio Disney Music Awards.
