July at Watford Colosseum

July has almost arrived. From Soul to Spice Girls, there's plenty to enjoy at Watford Colosseum this month.

The Drifters – Friday 1 July – Watford Colosseum

The Drifters are a lifelong American doo-wop and R&B/Soul vocal group. The ensemble was originally formed in 1953 in New York City, but their legacy continues to this day with current members Michael Williams, Ryan King, Daniel Bowen-Smith, Damion Charles and their understudy Jerome Bucknor.

The high-energy performance will showcase many of The Drifters’ greatest hits including Under The Boardwalk, Saturday Night At The Movies, Up On The Roof, Kissin In The Back Row, Down on the Beach, More Than A Number In My Little Red Book alongside recent material. This one’s not to be missed.

Only Fools and 3 Courses – Wednesday 6 July – Watford Colosseum

This is the dinner event of the year! Delicious food and barrels of laughs all served up Only Fools and Horses style.

Marlene & Boycie are hosting a Gala Dinner, but will things go to plan with Del, Rodney and Uncle Albert (“when I was in the war…”) on the guest list?

Will Raquel put in an appearance and sing? Surely not after the last time?!

This is an epic night out in a friendly party atmosphere with some of the finest comedy actors in the around, professionally produced to the highest standards with your enjoyment at the top of the menu. Expect an evening of chaos and mayhem with extra large portions of comedy.

Spiceworld: The Exhibition – Thursday 7 July – Watford Colosseum

To coincide with the 20th Anniversary of the hit single Wannabe, Watford Colosseum is hosting a fantastic exhibition dedicated to the 90s pop phenomenon that caught the world off guard then took it by storm – The Spice Girls!

Spiceworld: The Exhibition celebrates the story of how Sporty, Baby, Scary, Posh and Ginger became the most famous and powerful girl group of all time – admired and marvelled by fans across the globe. Years before Beyonce and Taylor Swift, The Spice Girls gave us the original girl power and their impact on music can still be felt today.

The exhibition is based on the Guinness World Record breaking collection from Liz West, the world’s foremost collector of Spice Girls memorabilia and merchandise. West’s collection is as stunning as it is vast, even receiving the seal of approval from Scary Spice herself. Mel B said “I really hope that everyone will like this exhibition. It is truly an honour to have such an extensive collection of our past be brought out for everyone to enjoy.”
