Leeds Mini & Junior Run at Leeds Dock
Saturday 9th July sees the Arena Group Leeds Mini and Junior Run race around Leeds Dock.
As part of Jane Tomlinson’s ‘Run For All’ series, the Leeds Mini and Junior Run is all set to be a fantastic occasion for runners and spectators alike. Designed specifically for kids, the two races are a wonderful introduction both to the world of running and mass participation events in general.
Held at the picturesque Leeds Dock on the morning of Saturday 9th July, the event promises a superb atmosphere for all the family. Starting at 10am, the 1.5km Mini Run is suitable for children aged three to eight. The Junior Run is aimed at those between nine and fourteen years old, covering a total distance of 2.5km. Both runs are suitable for all abilities, and every child who crosses the finish line will receive a goody bag and finisher’s medal for their amazing effort.
Everyone taking part has also been encouraged to raise money for JDRF – a leading global organisation funding research into Type 1 Diabetes. The charity makes life-changing breakthroughs to help cure, prevent and treat the disease and its associated complications.
If you’re planning on coming along, don’t let parking be a problem. We’re proud to provide the official car parking for the event – access to our Leeds Dock car park will be available until 9:30am, so make sure you arrive early to give yourself plenty of time!

Run For All is extremely pleased to be working in partnership with Leeds City Council to organise the 2016 Leeds Mini & Junior Runs. In accordance with traffic authority regulations for Leeds City Council, an order has been made prohibiting and restricting the use of certain roads and road junctions by vehicles in order to facilitate the safe holding of the event.
Times are approximate and subject to change. Please note, all roads either crossing or having a junction with the listed roads will also be closed at that point. Run For All would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your support of the 2016 Leeds Mini & Junior Run.
