Spring is coming to an end, which means summer is about to begin! It’s heating up across the UK and Manchester Arena have some amazing acts to welcome in the warm weather. We’ve listed our top picks below, so leave the parking to us and enjoy the show.

James – Friday 13 May – Manchester Arena

With a career spanning 14 albums, including 20 UK top 40 singles, James return to their hometown of Manchester to celebrate the release of their brand new album Girl at the End of the World. This will be James’ first show in Manchester Arena since 2013’s sold-out The Gathering Sound concert.

Sit Down, She’s a Star, Laid and Come Home are just a handful of James’ top singles and Girl at the End of the World is the first release from the band since their critically-acclaimed 2014 release Le Petite Mort.

Special guests for the show will be Jack Savoretti and Manchester band The Slow Readers Club.

Busted – Saturday 21 May & Friday 3 June – Manchester Arena

Matt, James and Charlie – the ultimate heartthrobs for noughties teenagers – return! The reunion that could never happen has happened – Busted are back and will be performing two shows at Manchester arena as part of their aptly named Pigs Can Fly tour.

Charlie Simpson said: “We're calling the tour 'Pigs Can Fly' because it just goes to show that anything can happen! None of us thought we'd ever tour together again, and it's been an amazing journey getting back to this point. We can't wait to get out on the road!”

This tour will be the first time in 12 years for fans to enjoy the three original members performing all their greatest hits on stage, including the unforgettable What I Go to School For, Crashed the Wedding, You Said No, Air Hostess and Year 3000!

The fantastic Wheatus and YouTube sensation Emma Blackbery will be supporting the show.

Hans Zimmer – Sunday 29 May – Manchester Arena

Award winning film composer Hans Zimmer is set to deliver an electrifying performance at Manchester Arena with his studio band and legendary guitarist Johnny Marr.

The German-born musician has composed the soundtracks to a huge number of blockbusters including Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight Trilogy (all with filmmaker Christopher Nolan), Gladiator, 12 Years a Slave, The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, Spiderman, The Thin Red Line, The Da Vinci Code, Mission Impossible, Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes, Thelma And Louise, Crimson Tide, Rain Man and many more.

Jeff Lynne’s ELO – Wednesday 22 June – Manchester Arena

Having sold over 50 million records worldwide, Jeff Lynne’s ELO returns to Manchester Arena for the second time this year, after tickets for their first show sold out in minutes.

Jeff brings his unrivaled back catalogue and amazing new album Alone in the Universe to Manchester backed with top reviews from Mojo, Classic Rock and Q.

With a distinct style which seamlessly blends rock, pop and classical music all into one, ELO has had twenty six UK top 40 singles, making Lynne's sweeping productions some of the most recognisable music of the last forty years.

Lionel Richie: All The Hits – Tuesday 28 & Wednesday 29 June – Manchester Arena

Due to immense demand, superstar Lionel Richie will be performing two shows at Manchester Arena this June!

After a phenomenal 2015, which saw an incredible sell-out UK tour, a number one album, a GQ award and a sensational Glastonbury performance.

Richie’s shows are famous for their party atmosphere and fans will be able to enjoy all the hits from his decades spanning repertoire including Hello, Easy, Dancing on the Ceiling, Say You Say Me and All Night Long.

Corinne Bailey Rae will be performing as special guest.
