We're delighted that our Clarence Dock car park has been heralded one of the most environmentally car parks in the world on top eco website Inhabitat.
Last year we installed the largest city centre Solar Photovoltaic (PV) array in the UK. It's pretty hard to spot because it sits on the roof of our Clarence Dock multi-storey car park.
This Solar PV system is great for the environment because each year it:
- saves 55 tonnes of carbon dioxide
- provides 15% of the car park's electricity
- uses 99% of the power generated directly on site
We're really proud of it and we've had a great response from our customers so far!
