The Leeds Food and Drink Festival returns this May
This summer sees the Leeds Food and Drink Festival returning to the city, bigger and better than ever before. Sponsored by Asda, the event is looking to become one of the biggest and best urban food festivals in the UK.
Running from Friday 23rd May to Sunday 8th June, the festival guarantees to build on 2013's success, bringing brand new events, venues, and of course, spectacular food and drink that you won't forget in a hurry.
The 2014 event sees Trinity Kitchen getting involved for the first time featuring exciting pop-up restaurants, as well as The Tetley offering an exciting food festival just for kids. Throughout the rest of the city you'll find cocktail master classes, cake making experiences, and a multitude of culinary delights. The whole festival culminates with the annual three day Yorkshire Food and Drink show held in the exemplary Millennium Square between June 6th-8th. Coinciding with the Tour de France, this years festival sees the introduction of the “Le Grand DeParty' consisting of French themed food, drink, and produce, celebrating the imminent arrival of the 2014 Grand Depart.
