What's on in Leeds this March?

The February half term was packed full of fantastic events for school children across Leeds and Yorkshire. However, Leeds has an ongoing and thriving events calendar.

From business and professional events, to cultural and arts workshops, Leeds has a thriving scene catering to all interests. Millennium Square in Leeds city centre recently hosted the annual ice rink, which proved very popular with locals, as well as attracting hundreds of visitors from across West Yorkshire. This month Millennium Square, and the rest of Leeds will host several events.

Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership Business Conference

Hosted by Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP), this conference will reveal some of the opportunities that the LEP are working on to benefit local businesses. This will focus particularly around high quality apprenticeships for SMEs across all sectors.

The LEP are keen to see what can be done to encourage young people in the Leeds region to become involved with apprenticeship opportunities.

Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy

Charity Event for the Stroke Association

Leeds' citizens are invited to support the Stroke Association as fire-walking features at Millennium Square!

Walking barefoot across hot coals, locals will be raising money for the Stroke Association for what will be an exciting evening kicking off from 6.00pm.

St Patrick's Day Parade

The 2014 Leeds St Patrick's Day Parade starts at 12.30pm from Millennium Square. The event which attracted hundreds of people last year will include music and dancers amongst a range of cultural stalls, traditional foods and children's entertainment. This is a fantastic day out in Leeds city centre.

Premier League Darts

Premier League Darts comes to Leeds Arena in what is expected to be an incredible evening of entertainment. From 7.00pm (doors 6.00pm) the new darts season which kicked off on 6 February in Liverpool, will descend upon Leeds where the league's top players will compete in hope of reaching the play-offs later this year at The O2, London.
