Ellie Goulding – Tuesday 15 March
News of Goulding’s 2016 tour broke after the announcement of her new album – Delirium – due for release on 6 November. The two-time Brit Awards winner is expected to deliver a starry eyed performance at first direct arena on Tuesday 15 March. Fans will be blown away by an eclectic mix of songs from Goulding’s catalogue as well as material from her upcoming release. Her latest single ‘‘Love Me Like You Do’ hit number one in 70 countries and broke the world record for the most streamed song in one week.

Mariah Carey ‘The Sweet Fantasy Tour’ – Thursday 17 March
Mariah Carey is the best-selling female artist of all time, totalling over 220 million record sales and winning countless awards, including multiple Grammys, 21 American Music Awards and Billboard’s Artist of the Decade award – to name a few. The superstar diva returns to the UK to perform her Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour. Fans rejoice as the global chart topper will be performing songs from her extensive catalogue, including the fabulous Hero, Fantasy, Always Be My Baby, We Belong Together and many more.

Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott – Saturday 19 March
Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott embark on their biggest UK headline tour to date – stopping off at first direct arena on Saturday 19 March. Following their critically acclaimed album ‘What Have We Become’, Heaton & Abbott return with ‘Wisdom, Laughter & Lines’ – a contemporary and conscious record, packed with wit, humour and commentary on the changing social landscape of Britain. ‘The Austerity of Love’ is the first single and was selected as ‘Record of the Week’ on BBC Radio 2, moving straight to the A Playlist at BBC Radio 2 as well.

Dynamo ‘Seeing is Believing’ – 23 & 24 March
Due to immense demand, Bradford born Dynamo – famous for walking on water, levitating above The Shard and predicting the outcome of The World Cup – returns to first direct arena on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 March to perform at two extra (and final) shows as part of his critically acclaimed tour ‘Seeing is Believing’. Described as ‘jaw-dropping’ by The Times and ‘seeing his live really is believing’ if you missed out on the first batch of dates this is your last chance to witness the magic for yourself!

Little Mix – Saturday 26 April
The world’s biggest girl group return to Leeds! Little Mix are performing at the Leeds Arena on Saturday 26 April as part of their Get Weird UK tour. Little Mix formed in 2011 and went on to be an international sensation, selling over seven million records and achieving platinum status with their albums DNA and Salute. Fans will enjoy songs from their brand new album Get Weird, including the smash hit Black Magic.

If you’re heading to first direct arena this March, don’t let parking be a problem. We have a number of car parks in Leeds available, the closest of which is our Merrion Centre car park – now with pre-booking so you can beat the crowds and enjoy the show.
