August is here and Watford Colosseum has another month of great events lined up for us all to enjoy. Check out our top 5 below!
1. Sing-Along Frozen & Frozen Princess Party
Do you want to be the star of the show? Enjoy a full screening of the Disney family favourite Frozen, whilst following the lyrics on screen and singing along to classics such as Let It Go and Do You Want To Build a Snowman on Sunday 2 August.
Live hosts in full Frozen costume will be on hand to teach you some dance moves and guide you through the process. You will also receive a free prop bag to really ensure you feel like your favourite character. Once you’ve got that Frozen fever, join the princess party after with Elsa for some more Frozen fun!
2. Roller Disco
Try something new and join the party on Sunday 9 August for this fun and energetic roller disco. Dance and skate around to your favourite music provided by live DJ sets.
This fun and energetic roller disco is suitable for all ages and abilities with separate time slots throughout the day for families and over 18’s. It’s a great way for the whole family to stay active and fit whilst having a great time!
Expect a musical adventure in authentic Cash style as award winning singer-songwriter Clive John recreates Cash’s most popular and iconic songs like Ring of Fire, Hurt and I Walk The Line.
Many of Cash’s songs were influenced by the struggle he faced in his early life and screen images throughout the show provide a meaningful background as all aspects of his life are documented in this uplifting performance.
This is the only Johnny Cash show endorsed by the Cash family so come and be entertained by this truly inspirational experience on Thursday 20 August.
4. Basil Brush
Boom Boom! Basil Brush is back and ready to take you on an adventure featuring songs, storytelling and jokes to make you laugh and smile.
The BAFTA nominated global star has been entertaining audiences of all ages for over fifty years and even made an appearance at Prince Williams 5th birthday party. He’s met the Queen three times and has numerous celebrity fans.

With the best tribute act award under their belt and shows that have been described as the biggest and best party on the planet, the legendary Chicago Blues Brothers are back with an action packed show, filled with great music and guaranteed laughter on Friday 28 August.
Celebrating thirty years of the blues phenomenon, a full live band will accompany the hysterical duo to perform Jake and Elwood’s most popular hits such as Everybody Needs Somebody, Soul Man, Respect and Shake a Tail Feather as well as blues, Motown and soul classics from the likes of Aretha Franklin, James Brown and Otis Reading.
