Running shoes at the ready! The Plusnet Leeds Half Marathon is just around the corner!
On Sunday 10 May we welcome the return of The Plusnet Leeds Half Marathon. This amazing charity event sees the streets of Leeds awash with thousands of people running over 13 miles to raise money for a plethora of worthy causes and charities.
In 2014 the event raised a record £150,000 for it’s partner charities, asserting the Leeds Half Marathon’s reputation as one of the North’s most significant charity road races.
The event is coordinated by an army of volunteers and the runners are cheered by crowds of supporters. All in all it is an experience that lives forever in the memories of all who take part and an event that the whole of Yorkshire can be proud of.
If you’re travelling to the Plusnet Leeds Half Marathon by car and need somewhere to park we have some fantastic offers available at our three city centre car parks.
Our city centre multi-storey car park at the Merrion Centre is only £1 per hour for your first 3 hours over the weekend. If you’re staying longer than the Half Marathon then it’s only £5.50 for up to 4 hours and £7.80 for 5 hours. This car park is only a short walk away from Leeds’ favourite shopping destinations including Briggate, Harvey Nichols, and Trinity. Not only that, it’s surrounded by a multitude of fantastic restaurants!
Alternatively, the cheapest weekend parking in Leeds is only £3 for all day parking at 7 Whitehall Road.
