San Carlo Cicchetti

Located on the ground floor of House of Fraser, Cicchetti is a modern Italian restaurant in Manchester. Part of the well known San Carlo group, Cicchetti is said to be one of the UK's highest grossing restaurants. With a shiny, modern feel to it, it's grown a large following from the football giants that live in the local area.

The menu itself is extensive and interesting. Make sure you try out the warm carpaccio, it comes covered with curls of black truffle, an experience in itself!

Situated within the ABode hotel, Michael Caines restaurant in Manchester is something truly special. In possession of multiple Michelin stars, Michael Caines has become world famous for his unique menus and this restaurant at the ABode hotel features contemporary British cooking with Mediterranean influences.

The tasting menu is particularly fantastic, with an incredible selection on offer with wines to match.

Owned by Manchester United footballer Rio Ferdinand, Rosso has become another famous Italian restaurant in Manchester. With a glamorous and modern appearance, Rosso has become known as the go-to place for celebrities with David Beckham, Olly Murs, Wayne Rooney and Elle Macpherson all snapped attending.

Don't let the glitz and stars put you off though, the food is also great. With a fine selection of everything from carbonara to fresh mussels, it's an absolute delight. Make sure you try out some of the fish whilst you're there, it's amongst some of the best in the city.

The newest addition to Manchester's restaurant scene comes in the form of Red's True BBQ, a sister to the incredibly successful Leeds branch.

Boasting waits of over two hours, Red's Leeds has been a resounding success and the feedback for the recently opened Manchester restaurant has been incredibly positive. Boasting more space, later opening times and the same fantastic flavours, it's a recipe for a great evening.

Try out the pulled pork and brisket combo plate, it's a gut-busting treat. Amen!
